FlightFund was the name of the frequent flyer program of America West Airlines. Due to the merger of the airline with US Air, members of FlightFund were transferred to the loyalty program of US Air, Dividend Miles.

Membership Levels

There are three Elite levels: "Silver", "Gold" und "Platinum". Elite Level qualifying miles are based on actual or minimum miles, whichever is greater, or actual segments flown on qualifying paid tickets. There are certain discounted fares that do not qualify toward Elite status.

13. Oct. 05Further Details of the new FlightFund Program

20. Sep. 05Changes in Partnership with Hawaiian Airlines
  Beginning December 16, FlightFund members will be able to fly America West nonstop from Phoenix to Honolulu, Oahu and Kahului, Maui. In March, America West will add nonstop service between Las Vegas and Maui; between Phoenix and Lihue, Kauai, and between Phoenix and Kona, Big Island. As America West launches their own service to Hawaii the current partnership with Hawaiian Airlines will change. Going forward, America West and Hawaiian Airlines will no longer partner on flights between the continental US and Hawaii; however they will continue to be inter-island and South Pacific partners. more
12. Sep. 05Update on the Merger of America West and US Airways
  America West posted a Bulletin about the merger with US Airways with some information about the merging of the two frequent flyer programs. Some of the benefits of the merged program will be:
- Members of both Dividend Miles and FlightFund will be able to earn and redeem miles throughout the combined route network
- Miles and segments earned in 2005 will count towards either Dividend Miles Preferred or FlightFund Elite status.
- America West Club members will have access to airport clubs across the expanded network more
